The Da Vinci Code
Spoiler Alert: This post has many spoilers about this book, so read it at your own discretion.

The Da Vinci Code: (Robert Langdon Book 2) eBook: Brown, Dan ...
I know that I have already written a short review on this book in my Top 5 Adventure Series
post but I couldn’t cover the whole book in that 1 paragraph and that’s why I am dedicating a whole post for it.

This is one of my favourite books of all time especially because of the mystery in it. I have loved reading mystery books from the time I started reading Sherlock Holmes and still continue to do so. This book is not only mystery but it also consists of adventure/fiction/history. It is a book that I would highly recommend for readers above the age of 12. But below that will be difficult due to the complex references and vocabulary used in it.
The Truth about Angels, Demons and Antimatter | Live Science

I recommend that you read Angels and Demons before this book, as the events in this book take place after the events in Angels and Demons, also there are some references to it in this book. But even if you don’t want to read Angels and Demons, it is totally fine because this book is pretty much a solo-read and does not require you to know the story of the previous book unlike many more books out there.

The basic plot of this is that a Harvard professor, Robert Langdon who is a
symbologist is called to Paris for a lecture. They’re a popular man is murdered who Robert had an appointment with the same evening. This man, who happens to be the curator of the Louvre Museum of Paris, before dying makes some clues and writes, “PS- Find Robert Langdon” on the floor around his body. Due to this the police highly suspects him of murdering the curator. During the interview, the granddaughter of the curator helps Langdon escape. Then after a lot of time, they finally find a box of the curator and learn that the box holds a small vault called a cryptex (Image is given below).

The Da Vinci Code (The Young Adult Adaptation) by Dan Brown ...

Inside this vault, they find the hiding place of one of the ancient secrets of the world. This secret has been guarded from 1099 by a secret society called The Priory of Sion and has been presided over by famous people like Leonardo Da Vinci and Isaac Newton. This secret has been said to have immense power. They also get to know that the curator was the Grand Master of The Priory of Sion.

I would highly recommend this book to art lovers and people who love a good conspiracy. Lastly, I would like to warn you that if you believe that Jesus was a god then you should not read this book as it suggests that he is only human and even has children!! It proves that His bloodline is still alive and is situated in France guarded by the Priory of Sion. This book also has got a lot of negative comments about the church.
